Scientific Thought operates under an open-access model where all articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide. We do not charge any fees for accessing content, ensuring that research is available to everyone without financial barriers. However, in situations where fees may be applied (e.g., print copies or other paid services), our refund policy is as follows:
Publication Fees:
Scientific Thought does not charge authors any publication fees for submission or acceptance of articles in the digital format. In the case that any fees are associated with additional services such as print copies or special requests, these fees will be clearly communicated before the service is rendered.
Refund Eligibility:
Refunds may be considered under the following conditions:
Error or Duplication: If a payment was made in error or for a duplicated service (e.g., double-payment for print copies), the refund request will be processed within 14 days of the request.
Unfulfilled Services: If the requested service (such as print copies) is not delivered within the promised timeframe, a full refund will be issued.
Refund Process:
To request a refund, the requester must contact the editorial office at [email address/contact information], providing details of the transaction, reason for the refund, and any supporting documentation (e.g., payment receipt, order confirmation). Refunds will be processed within 30 days from the approval of the request.
Non-Refundable Situations:
Accepted Articles: Once an article is accepted and published, there are no refunds for publication services, as the research is freely available online.
Custom Orders: Refunds will not be issued for custom print requests once the order has been processed and dispatched.
Exceptions:
In exceptional cases (such as medical or personal emergencies) where a refund request is not in line with the standard criteria, the editorial board may review the situation and, at its discretion, provide a partial or full refund.
